The Sustainable Times webzine edition was edited by Sean Kelly and published by CUSO, a Canadian international development agency that works for sustainable development in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. In 2008, CUSO merged with VSO Canada to form CUSO-VSO, the North American member of VSO International.

This internet magazine was built on the foundation of the print edition of the Sustainable Times, an award-winning Canadian magazine published from 1995 to 2001.
